The last couple of days Keller and I have been working with McKamy on her balance while sitting. We’ve also been using the Bumbo seat more frequently especially during dinner. Between these two things, she’s hit another milestone — she can sit up on her own! She needs help getting into position, but once there, she can balance pretty effectively for a (relatively) long time.
She’s getting much better at controlling her balance and catching herself if she starts to topple over. It’s impressive! I’m constantly blown away by how quickly she’ll learn new things and add them to her little check list of abilities.
I’m so proud of our little girlie … she’s growing and learning quicker than I imagined she would be and it takes all my time just to keep up with her! I have a feeling that crawling isn’t far behind and I can only guess at how much fun she’ll have once she’s mobile. Lol!
