If you know either of us well, you probably know the story. The story of how things just snowballed and moved so quickly. Of how, in three days, we went from never talking to each other, to dating … and ten years later happily married with a precious daughter!

To celebrate our anniversary, little Miss Kamy had a sleepover with Oma and Opa! It was the first time that she hasn’t been with me at night. It was also by far the longest I had been away from her in one time. Seven hours was my max before. Now it’s been seventeen! Kamy was such a great granddaughter though and had a great time with Oma and Opa! Other than concerns that I may not have left enough milk for her, everything went really smoothly. She even slept well — only getting up once at 4am and going right back to sleep until 7:30. Why she sleeps better away from home in her pack n play, I have no clue.
Many many thanks to Oma and Opa for taking Miss McKamy for us over night. I am so glad it went well and really appreciate it! I’m sure she loved spending so much time with you. The first of many sleepovers to come!
