Last night we went to Oma and Opa’s house to celebrate Kamy’s upcoming first birthday. Opa’s birthday was on Sunday too, so we did a combined birthday (though little Kamy had more presents to open).

Opening her main gift — a keyboard! It’s already been a big hit and she loves playing with it.
And a new book! McKamy’s gotten really into pointing lately, so this animal book is perfect for her! And fortunately the animals all have names written underneath, so Momma and Daddy don’t have to guess on the fly. Hooray!
Oma even made a special, kid-friendly cake for Kamy to eat. Let’s just say it was a hit!

Has it really been a year already? If I think about all that we’ve done and how she’s grown and changed, it’s amazing it’s only been 12 months. At times it seems that days just slip by. It’s so special to get to spend each and every day with my little girl!
