We’re finally making progress on getting all unpacked and settled in our new home. We’re so excited to be putting down some roots here in Lone Star and adjusting to country life.
While unpacking has gone a bit slower than usual, Kamy has been helping in so many ways! Not only will she unpack boxes for me, she’ll also encourage me to organize by pulling things out of cabinets and closets that had just been stashed there.
She’s even been helping with the laundry! Not only will she pull laundry out of the dryer and (mostly) put it in the hamper, she’ll also pull the wet clothes out of the washer and (some) get in the dryer. Now she knows how to pull out the dryer lint catcher and she’ll make sure I know it needs to be cleaned before running the dryer.
Kamy’s even been enjoying the local produce and had her first watermelon off the rind!
