Halloween!

I knew Caden and I would be out of commission for Halloween this year, but Daddy and Kamy were able to celebrate.  Our new church home held a Harvest Festival on Monday evening and had all sorts of games, candy, bounce houses, and activities for the community.  Kamy doesn’t eat candy, but she had a nice time looking at everything going on and all the kids running around.

We were able to use the same costume from last year since Miss Kamy is a skinny little thing.  It was just barely long enough in the torso, but by unsnapping one of the snaps in the legs she squeezed in.

Last year:

Now, encouraging McKamy to actually get IN her costume was a two week process.  I had my concerns about her interest in actually wearing the costume, so we pulled it out of the closet and left it in the living room after Caden was born.  After ump-teen suggestions to put it on, she finally was open to putting on the tiger hat …

then the feet and we gradually worked up to the entire costume.  Once it was on, she was much more comfortable with it and put it on one or two times per day and look at herself in the mirror.

She even came to me one morning while I was still in bed … as a tiger.  She’s a pretty cuddly tiger!
