Spring Time in December

The last three days have been absolutely gorgeous here.  With temperatures anywhere from the low 60s to upper 80s (!), Kamy and I have made it a point to spend some time outside each day.

I’m not much of a “cold” person, so when the weather gets nippy I tend to stay inside where it’s nice and warm.  One of the perks of Texas is it doesn’t get as cold here as it does in most of the country.  That being said, the weather was a bit on the cold side last weekend on our escape to Linden, so this pretty weather was a particular treat.

We did manage to spend a little time outside while we were in Linden and made sure Kamy was bundled up for the occasion.  I have to admit, she’s pretty cute in all that pink!

Getting bundled up:

Taking a walk with Daddy:

Then Monday of this week I took Kamy on a nice long walk around the neighborhood.  She’s been a little fussy lately because of teething, so I was hoping the view would be a good distraction and keep her attention.

Apparently it wasn’t nearly as entertaining as I thought it would be!

Sweet little girl was all worn out.

  1. Aww…sweet little girl! Love her pink warm fuzzies. So sorry I am so behind on the blog. For some reason I have stopped getting e-mail updates and thought perhaps you just weren’t blogging due to moving. I finally decided to check the blog itself and lo and behold, there’s a ton of blogs here! I’m looking forward to reading them all!
