I know we’ve been out of pocket for the last several days — things have been busy and wonderful around here.
Caden is doing great. He’s eating well, sleeping well, and is just an overall easy baby. We have no complaints! He’s a great cuddler and loves to be held all the time. Caden isn’t a fussy baby at all, so other than protesting during diaper changes and explaining that he’s hungry when he wakes up, he’s quiet and easy to please.
Kamy is being a great big sister to Caden. She will lean over and give him a kiss with and without prompting. She’s gentle with him and will sit next to me while I hold him and listen when I talk about him. She’s certainly got her insecurity and is adjusting to sharing our attention, but she’s handling it really well. Just bear in mind, there’s a short fuse that takes a moment to go off. For being 19 months old, she sure acts like a two year old at moments!
Grandmindy has spent the last several days here helping out with Kamy and keeping us well fed. It’s definitely helped to have another set of hands to keep the house together and getting into a routine. We’ve got more family coming to visit in the next few weeks, so we’re so happy about the help.
We love you little Caden — we love having you as a part of our family!
