Next stop on the list was Oma and Opa’s home in Argyle. We headed there right after lunch at Grandmindy’s and spent the next three days with them.
Unfortunately my camera was acting up and most of the photos from Christmas Day were blurry, so these few will have to do.
Kamy’s favorite gift was her “shoo bus” from Oma and Opa, and it’s gotten a lot of play time at home already.
Our main gift from my parents was tickets for Keller and I to go see Les Mis at the Winspear Opera House in downtown Dallas. It also included free baby sitting and thus an actual date for us. Woo! It was the first time I had left Caden, but it was so much easier than the first time I left Kamy. Baby #2 just isn’t quite so stressful on that front. Both kids did great with Oma and Opa and Keller and I thoroughly enjoyed our alone time.
I also got several cute photos of the kids with Oma and Opa over the next several days.

Chione-
I haven’t seen you in many years (actually since you were a child!) but want to tell you how absolutely adorable McKamy and Caden are. I’m really enjoying the pictures you post and reading all about your role as wife and mother. I’m so happy your mother told me about your blog site!! I look forward to seeing and reading more about you and your little ones!
