Friday was another busy busy day! Keller and Payton enjoyed fishing so much Thursday morning that they decided to get up early again and go to Electra first thing Friday. They had a bit more success fishing this time around and were back in time for lunch.
After a quick lunch, we packed up and headed into Durango. Keller needed some more parts to fix the trailer bearings, so we stopped at the auto parts store. As we were waiting, a rain storm moved into Durango. We’d planned on going to the Durango Recreation Center to play at their outdoor splash park, so we were concerned that it wouldn’t be an option with all the rain. Fortunately, the majority of their kids pool area is indoors, so it wasn’t a problem at all! The water was a comfortable 89* too, so it wasn’t too cold either.
Both kids got a little chilly despite the heated water, and they needed a little warm-up break. There was a hot tub, but it’s was a little too hot to put the kids in. Little blue baby!
Both kids had a blast playing in the water! There were several slides that Kamy could climb on, plus a lazy river and several water spraying things. Caden’s such a little water bug right now, he just wants to be put down and let go so he can swim. Too bad he doesn’t know how yet! =) We spent about two hours there, so both kids were thoroughly wrinkled up and worn out by the time we headed back. It was definitely worth the trip!
Cute, cute, cute! Love that you share your lives with us!!
