Caden Joseph
When it came time to pick out the name for our baby boy on the way, choosing one was a challenge! We are so happy with McKamy’s name and feel like it fits her to a T … and it’s unique and cute and just right. Having to pick out another name that we liked as much was not an easy task.
Joseph was the easy part. On Keller’s side of the family, the first son of each generation had Joseph as the middle name — back four generations now. And Keller’s great grandfather’s first name was Giuseppe, the Italian form of Joseph. We knew early on that we’d like to continue that tradition.
Choosing his first name was harder! We wanted to find a name that was simple, but not boring. Unique but still easy to say. After scrolling through umpteen baby name websites, I put together a list of names that I liked. Then Keller added his input and scratched many off the list. Eventually we narrowed it down to one of three names. It took another few weeks of going back and forth to make a final decision. Obviously we landed on Caden! It means fighter or warrior depending on the translation.
We’re so happy with the name we chose and it fits him really well. We love you Caden!
