Our little McKamy continues to get bigger day by day. It’s not fair! I know they’re supposed to grow up and get bigger, but she’s supposed to stay little for at least a while! Not a week. =(
We are already starting to out grow some of the newborn clothes that she’s been wearing. I definitely understand that most baby clothes are not worn out … they’re grown out! Keller loves putting Kamy in the little zippered sleepers – they are really easy to get on and off for diaper changes. They are definitely easier to use than the snap front (or worse, snap back) pieces. Unfortunately, we only have 2 zippered sleepers that are not the newborn size so we’ll likely be hitting up Babies R Us for a few more soon.
We also had to move the straps up on the car seat to the next level – she has gotten too long for them at the smaller setting. She looks all scrunched up otherwise! Once we moved them up (and figured out how to reattach the newborn insert – cause Momma was brilliant and didn’t pay attention to how it was in there BEFORE she took it out), she looked much more comfortable.
We also had our two week baby appointment on Monday. She’s up to 8 pounds 3 ounces and 21 inches long. Everything looks great, all our questions were answered, and we aren’t due to go back until her 2 month checkup. I love having a healthy baby!
